Shirish Pareek Chairman and CEO
Shirish brings a background of global business strategy and operations to Adaptec. Previously, Shirish was the CEO and Founder of Hydraulex Global, which he grew into the largest hydraulics re-manufacturing business in America. Under Shirish’s stewardship, Hydraulex Global achieved $90MM in revenue, exported to 50 countries, employed over 350 staff, and managed five manufacturing plants. Shirish was also formerly a business strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. Earlier in his career, he also worked as an Oil Field Engineer with Halliburton. Shirish earned a B.S. with University Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India and an MBA with a specialization in Operations and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University.
Imran ParekhChief Financial Officer
As CFO, Imran provides strong, sound leadership to the financials of the company. A respected leader with high performing analytical skills and extensive management experience in the manufacturing space, he oversees all fiscal aspects of Adaptec with integrity and skilled business acumen. Imran holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Finance from the University at Buffalo.
Jeff GambrillExecutive, Material Handling Sales
Jeff’s vast career experience, in combination with his educational background allows him to be a sought after resource for developing key consultative insights. Clients value both his business, as well as, technical solutions approach to problem solving. Jeff has earned both an MBA and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Jeff also holds seven product development patents and has completed numerous continuous education programs in order to stay current and provide the most value to the customers of Adaptec.
Robert ManionExecutive, Lifecycle Services
Bob Manion has extensive business experience stemming from many years at Adaptec Solutions, as well as other leading Fortune 500 companies. Bob has earned both an MBA and a B.S. in Business Management and is a role model in putting the customer first by fostering business integrity and customer appreciation. He is also highly knowledgeable in a variety of process improvement areas such as Six Sigma and Lean. In his free time Bob enjoys time on the lake with his family.
James Van ThofSr. VP, Sales & Marketing
As Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing, James has a passion for building potent sales and marketing strategies that yield results. Bolstered by years of leadership experience in helping organizations grow brand recognition, revenue, profitability, and solution capabilities, James ensures customer satisfaction and success. He holds a B.A in Economics and Mathematics from St. John Fisher College and also earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from Mendoza College of Business at University of Notre Dame. In his spare time, you can catch James at the hockey rink or lacrosse field watching his two boys play games.
Karen MarshDirector, Human Resources
Karen is a senior human resources professional with over 20 years of experience working in a variety of business areas including high tech engineering, manufacturing and the service industry. Karen’s human resources experience includes work in employee relations, benefits, recruitment, training, onboarding and managing change due to mergers and acquisitions. Karen earned a B.A. in Political Science and a M.S. in Counseling Education from Syracuse University.
Bryan DohertyVP, Engineering
Bryan is an automation engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in engineering design, implementation, and installation of automated material handling, robotic, and software systems. He has built many successful multi-disciplined engineering teams over his tenure with a focus on supporting long-term strategic growth. He holds a BS in Applied Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Outside work, he spends his time with his family, usually behind a video game console.
Ottavio SaluzziVP, Software Engineering
Ottavio’s experience in professional services spans from software development, business consulting, project management to pre-sales and sales. A multilingual engineering enthusiast, Ottavio has been working on large and complex automation projects for more than 15 years, covering all vertical markets with clients from all around the globe, keen on the adoption of new technologies that help optimize business processes. Ottavio holds a MSc in Communication Technologies from the University of Lugano (Switzerland). Out of the office he enjoys playing the piano, hiking and reading.
