Although the name is new, Adaptec Solutions has a rich history that dates back to the first automated palletizer manufactured by Lambert Material Handling in 1948. Check out our history timeline below.
Aloi Materials Handling is founded by John Aloi, specializing in warehousing and pallet racking.
Aloi transitions ownership to John Skivington.
Automated Cells & Equipment is founded by Jim Morris in Corning, NY, integrating robotic automation systems for a wide variety of industries.
Mainstream, Inc is founded by Jason Stump and a partner, providing conveyor system installation and maintenance services.
Robert Manion purchases Lambert Material Handling (formerly known as Lamson Corp), a palletizer manufacturing company that designed, built and installed the first mechanized palletizer in 1948.
Fellow RIT graduates, Robert Manion and Jeff Gambrill, purchase Aloi from Skivington.
Manion and Gambrill combine Lambert Material Handling and Aloi into a single company.
Manion and Gambrill sell Lambert portion of the business to Illinois-based company, ARPAC, LLC.
Manion and Gambrill partner with Wincove Private Holdings.
Under leadership of new president and CEO, Andrew Creathorn, Aloi completes their first acquisition, combining operations with Automated Cells & Equipment.
Aloi acquires Mainstream Inc.
Adaptec Solutions is formed, providing customers with even broader products and services, expanded expertise, and integrated solutions capabilities to all customers.
Adaptec Solutions acquires Integrated Solutions, adding complex conveyor and warehousing expertise to its value proposition.
